From Mau-keh’s shores where the soft winds play, A girl named My-rah learned her gentle way. And in 2013, behind a teller’s line, I saw her smile and thought, this could be a sign. That’s when I met Too-poo-nah, bright as morning light, Two hearts I didn’t know would change my life that night. We worked side by side, counting notes and dreams, Didn’t know love was growing quietly between. By 2016, we finally said the truth, And stepped into a love that felt steady, felt new. But life called us deeper, in 2017, When Mah-mah Irene needed us to lean. Through the hardest nights, through the quiet tears, You held your strength, love, through all those years. In 2023 we packed our hopes and flew, To Aotearoa skies, chasing something new. You at Post Haste, me at Fidelity Life, Building a future as mother and wife. 2024 came with blessings in hand, A promotion, a promise, a life we planned. We returned home to honour Mah-mah Irene, A trip full of memories, tender and serene. Then 2025, Too-poo-nah grew strong, Off to intermediate, moving along. And you joined me at Fidelity, side by side, Two hearts working, walking with pride. Then January came with a garden in bloom, Auckland Domain held our moment of truth.
