HOLY IS THE LORD

Verse 1 Before the mountains learned their name Before the sun was set to flame You were God, and You will be Ancient light on endless sea From dust You formed the breath of man You held the world within Your hand Spoke the dark and called it day Still Your voice can roll the stone away Pre-Chorus Mercy like a river wide Justice burning, purified Chorus Holy, holy is the Lord Heaven and earth cry out in one accord Alpha, Omega, risen King Let every living creature sing Blessing and honor, glory and praise Be to the Lamb for all our days Holy, holy is the Lord Verse 2 Prophets trembled at Your throne Kings laid crowns and bowed alone Yet You walked the sinner’s road Carried love’s unfathomed load On a hill of shame and loss You stretched out mercy on a cross It is finished — sky grew dim But death could never bury Him Pre-Chorus Grave undone, the stone rolled free Now Your life lives on in me Chorus Holy, holy is the Lord Heaven and earth cry out in one accord Alpha, Omega, risen King Let every living creature sing Blessing and honor, glory and praise Be to the Lamb for all our days Holy, holy is the Lord Bridge (Revelation energy) Worthy is the Lamb who was slain Worthy is the Lamb who reigns Every tribe and tongue proclaim Jesus Christ, the Name above all names Day and night we never cease Songs of mercy, songs of peace Till faith is sight and trumpets sound And every knee is on the ground Final Chorus (lifted) Holy, holy is the Lord Heaven and earth forevermore Alpha, Omega, risen King Let all creation rise and sing Blessing and honor, glory and praise Be to the Lamb through endless days Holy, holy is the Lord
