3D Printers
1950s–1960s Las Vegas big band style. Up-tempo swing with full orchestra. Male crooner lead vocal, smooth baritone with playful swagger and confident phrasing. Instrumentation includes full brass section with trumpets and trombones, saxophone section, upright walking bass, grand piano, brushed drums in verses and full swing kit in choruses, rhythm guitar, and occasional vibraphone accents. Big band horn stabs and call-and-response with the singer. Bright, polished, high-energy showpiece feel like a classic Vegas stage performance. Slight comedic flair but performed seriously and professionally. Dynamic horn breaks and instrumental fills between lyrical lines.

Lyrics
Verse 1
Well it started with a Prusa MK3S
Said, “Honey, it’s a tool, not a toy, I confess.”
She said, “What’s it do?” I said, “Anything I need.”
Next thing you know I’m ordering filament by the pound and speed.
I swore up and down that one was enough
Then the MK4S showed up in a box marked “fragile stuff.”
She crossed her arms, gave me that look
I said, “It was on sale,” which technically… I never really took.
Pre-Chorus
Now the basement’s glowing like a neon bar
With little red lights blinking in the dark
Chorus
Just one more printer, that’s all I need
Said that last time but I didn’t succeed
From the CoreOne humming steady and clean
To the Bambu Lab X1C printing like a dream
And that little A1 on the side bench stand
Working overtime like a hired hand
I swear I’m done after number five
But there’s always one more print in my mind
Verse 2
I’ve printed hooks, I’ve printed trays
Phone cases in seventeen TPU shades
Neighbors think I’m running NASA downstairs
But I’m just making brackets for folding chairs
She said, “Why’d you print another part?”
I said, “Because I could,” and that’s a work of art
There’s something about that nozzle glide
Like therapy you just can’t hide
Pre-Chorus
When that first layer lays down straight
I’m grinning like I just caught a ten-pound weight
Chorus
Just one more printer, that’s all I need
Said that last time but I didn’t succeed
MK3S started the flame
MK4S fanned it just the same
CoreOne printing ABS
X1C moving twice as fast
And that A1 humming soft and sweet
Got a plastic factory on my street
Bridge
Credit card’s smoking, shelves are full
Spools of filament stacked like wool
She says, “Are you building a robot army?”
I say, “Maybe… but they’ll be charming.”
Breakdown
When the power flickers I panic fast
Run downstairs like it’s a heart attack
Checking temps and checking flow
Talking to printers like they know
Final Chorus
Just one more printer, that’s all I need
I say that line with reckless speed
From Prusa steel to Bambu shine
They’re practically family at this point in time
If loving layers is wrong then fine
I’ll be down there till closing time
Yeah I might need an intervention soon
But first let me finish this print by noon
Outro
It’s not obsession, don’t you see
It’s “distributed manufacturing.”
Now if you’ll excuse me please
There’s a nozzle calling me.
