Dusk in the woods

Dusk in the summer woods separated the day from that clear evening in a magic of rays that seemed unreal. There was a great bustle of fairies and gnomes. The fairies bathed in the enchanted pond wrapped in golden linen veils. The gnomes chased the hedgehogs into their burrows, then hugged and kissed them as if they were made of marzipan. The cicadas and crickets were all there... on the stage playing while the fireflies with lit candles made people dream. It was a music that sunk deep inside... into the heart drawing forth memories and hopes... dreams of love. And so it went on all night... throughout the summer nights, in the woods with the crickets, the cicadas, the gnomes, and the fairies.
