From Genesis to Revelation

[Verse 1 – Old Testament Begins] In the beginning, God made the light, Genesis tells how it all came to life. Through Exodus, He set us free, In Leviticus, holiness we see. In Numbers, He leads the way, Deuteronomy, words to obey. The Law of Moses standing strong, God’s faithful love all along. [Verse 2 – History Books] Joshua marched with courage bright, Judges showed wrong and right. Through Ruth, redemption’s story, In Samuel, we see His glory. Kings and Chronicles rise and fall, Yet God remains above it all. Ezra, Nehemiah rebuild again, Esther saves her people then. And faithful Job in suffering stands, Trusting always in God’s hands. [Pre-Chorus] Through every page, through every age, God is writing history. [Chorus] From Genesis to Revelation, One great story of salvation. Every promise, every nation, Points to Christ our King. From the Law and through the Prophets, To the cross and empty grave, God’s great love through every page, Jesus Christ who saves. [Verse 3 – Poetry & Major Prophets] The longest book, the songs we raise, In Psalms, we worship and give praise. Proverbs speaks of wisdom’s way, Ecclesiastes, life’s display. In Song of Solomon, love so pure, God’s design forever sure. Isaiah sees the coming King, Jeremiah sorrow sings. Lamentations, tears that fall, Still God is faithful through it all. Ezekiel, visions bright, Daniel, brave in darkest night. [Verse 4 – Minor Prophets] Hosea, love that won’t let go, Joel, the Spirit flow. Amos, justice loud and clear, Obadiah, judgment near. Jonah runs but God still calls, Micah speaks though nations fall. Nahum, Habakkuk still believe, Zephaniah will not leave. Haggai, Zechariah proclaim, Malachi prepares the way. [Soft Break – Transition to New Testament] Four hundred years of silence came… Until a Child was born in Bethlehem. [Verse 5 – The Gospels] Matthew, Mark, and Luke declare, John says, “The Word was there.” Jesus Christ, the Son of Man, God fulfilled His saving plan. In Acts, the Church begins, The Holy Spirit moves within. [Verse 6 – Letters of Paul & Others] Romans, grace for everyone, Corinthians, unity as one. Galatians, freedom found, Ephesians, love unbound. Philippians, joy in pain, Colossians, Christ shall reign. Thessalonians, hope so bright, Timothy, stand for what is right. Titus, Philemon, faithful call, Hebrews, Christ above all. James says faith must show, Peter helps believers grow. John’s three letters speak of love, Jude warns from above. [Final Chorus – Big Worship Ending] From Genesis to Revelation, One eternal proclamation. Jesus Christ, our foundation, Alpha and Omega. From the garden to the throne, From the cross to heaven’s home, Every book and every page, Declares His holy name. [Outro – Soft & Powerful] The last book, Revelation, Victory for every nation. Christ will come in glory bright, Forever King, forever Light.
