Lyrics
The rain begins its quiet song,,
A gentle tap on window pane,,
It tells the earth, You've waited long,,
Now drink, and grow, and bloom again.
Each drop a word, each stream a verse,,
That writes itself on leaf and stone,,
It softens edges, quenches thirst,,
And turns the grey world into home.
The puddles catch the falling sky,,
And hold it for a moment's time,,
Before it sinks, before it dries,,
Before the sun resumes its climb.
So let it rain—let skies weep free,,
For after every storm, we see,
The world washed clean, the air turned sweet,,
And rainbows where the clouds retreat.
