Lyrics

Create a cinematic metalcore track for the band “Spec of Dust.” The band embodies cosmic, otherworldly beings descending to Earth to warn humanity about its spiritual decay and forgotten divinity. Sound: Heavy but melodic. Ethereal ambience layered with crushing breakdowns. Atmospheric pads, distant choir textures, low tuned guitars (drop F or G), punchy modern drums, occasional jazz-influenced clean guitar chords in verses. Vocal Style: Dynamic contrast — deep emotional cleans, visceral screams, and one rhythmic spoken-word/rap section. Theme: Existential, metaphysical, questioning reality, consciousness, ego, mortality, and humanity’s separation from the cosmos. Mood Progression: – Ambient cosmic intro – Emotional verse (questioning) – Explosive chorus (revelation) – Aggressive breakdown (anger at humanity’s blindness) – Rap/spoken section (truth delivered plainly) – Climactic hopeful ending (remembrance of divinity) Influences: Modern metalcore with hints of nu metal groove, cinematic scoring, and subtle jazz harmony textures. Emotional Tone: Beautiful but devastating. Dark but hopeful. Introspective but powerful. The song should feel like an existential awakening — like dust realizing it was once a star.
