Lyrics
[Verse 1]
Before I spoke a single word, You heard me
Before I drew my very first breath, You formed me
You counted every hair upon my head
You caught every tear I ever shed
Before I even knew myself
You knew me
[Verse 2]
In all my hiding and my shame, You found me
When I was running far away, You chased me
You saw the parts I tried to bury deep
The secrets that I thought I’d always keep
[Chorus]
You knew me, You knew me
When I couldn’t find myself, You knew me
Every broken piece, every hidden dream
Every silent scream
Lord, You knew me
And You loved me still
[Bridge]
Fearfully and wonderfully made
That’s what Your Word says about me
Now I’m finally starting to believe
That I am who You say I am
[Outro]
You knew me... and You loved me still...
