Lyrics
[Verse 1]
Yesterday the weight was heavy
Felt like I could barely stand
Every step felt like a mountain
Slipping through like hourglass sand
But I woke up this morning
With Your name upon my lips
And the mercy that I’m needing
Is the grace that never quits
[Pre-Chorus]
And I know, yes I know
Your love won’t let me go
[Chorus]
Every morning new
Your grace is waiting
Every sunrise proves
You’re never changing
When I cannot see the way
Your light is breaking through
Lord, I lift my eyes to You
Every morning new
[Verse 2]
I have failed more than I’ve conquered
I have fallen time and again
But Your patience keeps on teaching
That Your love has got no end
[Bridge]
(Building with repetition)
New mercies, new mercies
Falling like the rain
New mercies, new mercies
Calling out my name
(Repeat, building)
[Final Chorus]
Every morning new
Your grace is waiting
Every sunrise proves
You’re never changing
Lord, I lift my eyes to You
Every morning new
