Verse 1 Blessed are the poor in spirit, For the kingdom’s theirs to claim. Blessed are those who mourn and weep, For comfort’s found in His name. Blessed are the meek and humble, They will inherit the land. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst, For righteousness they’ll stand.
