Line 2 A: They used irrigation to water their crops, Line 2 B: canals from the Nile helped water flow non-stop Line 3 A: After the Nile flooded for 6 months, it left silt, Line 3 B: the silt helped the wheat and barley and their farms got built. Line 4 A: :The ancient Egyptians wrote in Hieroglyphics Line 4 B using Ideograms and phonograms being very specific Line 5 A: The Roseta stone is a tool used to translate Egyptian and Greek language. Line 5 B: and scientist are grateful for this advantage Stanza 2: Line 1A: When Egyptians died Line 1B: Their bodies were mummified Line 2A: The Egyptians believed in the afterlife when life was done Line 2 B: gods like Osiris, Isis and Ra watched over everyone Line 3A:The pharaohs were mummified and placed in a tomb Line 3 B: buried in the valley of the Kings on the west bank with treasure filled rooms Line 4 A: Anubis weighed the heart with the feather of truth, Line 4 B: if your heart was honest you would get eternal youth.
