Wow I got up this morning Out of place Out of step with the day Clock screaming on the dresser Late again Same endless relay Down the hall I’m sprinting Hit the wall Coffee everywhere Brown stain on the kitchen table Tiny heart Heavy in the air [Ch But once more I’m here Feet on the floor I’m still breathing (oh yeah) This long Long race I keep running I keep believing If this dream never ends I’ll keep leaning into every minute Once more I’m here And I’m thankful that I’m in it Stood still for a second Thought about the days already spent All the almosts All the maybes Every broken Bent experiment Wow I woke up this morning Said “Yes I can do this again” Pushed the doubt back out the doorway Made some room for faith to step in ’Cause once more I’m here Feet on the floor I’m still breathing (hey!)
