In the silence, in the dark

In the silence, in the dark I saw a ray of light As I dreamt, hark! My dream became bright- The Light with all its rays Made a path straight but small By it a sign that says I am the life, the way for all. Once up the hill, a plane A cross was there, the Son of Man-I fell I felt my guilt and shame I prayed to Him, He made me well Now I felt free and pure I skipped and sang Now I can assure That Jesus is the Lamb. The rest of the way I sang to my God and Father Who his life for me gave He loves me more than mother.
