Title: “The Penguin Who Hated the Cold”

Title: “The Penguin Who Hated the Cold” Verse 1 Way up north where the icebergs shine, Lived a penguin who would always whine, “Brrr, it’s chilly! Brrr, it’s bold! I’m a penguin… but I hate the cold!” All the others splashed with cheer, Sliding fast from ear to ear, But he shivered, beak to toes, Wrapped in seaweed, head to nose. Chorus Oh, wiggle, wiggle, little penguin feet, Snow and ice can be a treat! Flap your flippers, spin around, Cold can be a playground! When you slip and when you roll, You might love the frosty cold! Verse 2 First he tried a scarf of red, Looped it twice around his head, “Better! Warmer!” so he said, Then it froze up stiff instead. Next he built a heater bright, Fish-oil lamp with dancing light, But it melted through the ice, It didn't work, it wasn't nice . Chorus Oh, wiggle, wiggle, little penguin feet, Snow and ice can be a treat! Flap your flippers, spin around, Cold can be a playground! When you slip and when you roll, You might love the frosty cold! Bridge (Hot Cocoa Scene) “I know what I need!” he cried with glee, “A cup of cocoa just for me!” He sipped it slow… he sighed “Ahhh…” Then dropped it in a snowdrift — plop! He chased the cup downhill — whoa! Tumbling fast across the snow, Round and round and slide and glide, Laughing on an icy ride! Verse 3 Down he zoomed on belly flat, “Wait a minute — what was that?!” Wind went whooshing past his face, He was racing… having fun… in place! Other penguins cheered, “Again!” “Sliding’s how we play down here, friend!” Up he climbed and down he swooped, Happy flips and belly-boops. Final Chorus (Bigger) Oh, wiggle, wiggle, penguin feet, Snow and ice are such a treat! Flap your flippers, spin around, Cold can be a playground! Slide together, roll and glide, Winter’s fun when friends are by! From shivery toes to giggle-bold, Now he loves the frosty cold! Outro So if you’re chilly, don’t you fret, You might find a joy there yet, Sometimes things we think we don’t… Turn to things we love the most
