We meet in college. I was a freshman and he was a junior. He saw me through the window of the SGA office. It was love at first sight. He asked his friend “who is that?” But his friend said “that’s Juanita, she ain’t with it”. He challenged me to a game of pool. If he won, I would give him my number but he scratched on the 8 ball. In order to win me over, he decided to take a picture with me and asked if he could send it to me. I gave him my number. We went our separate ways but he lost my number again.. so across the quad I screamed my number to him and the rest is history. We’ve had our ups and downs but today, we have been married for 8 years with 3 beautiful kids. We’ve worked hard to love like Christ because we know love does cost a thing!
