Lyrics
(Short Instrumental Prelude)
(Verse 1)
The Lord is our strength,....
in the time of trouble....
A beacon of light, upon a hill, for all to see....
When the storms of this life,....
are raging around you....
There's a lighthouse still standing, with power and might, to save you and me
(Chorus)
This lighthouse is Jesus,....
His light is still shining....
Through the storms of this life,....
He still calms the seas.....
He'll give you the strength,....
to help keep you going....
He's the lighthouse we need,....
to guide you and me
(Verse 2)
Through trials and testings,....
through heartaches and sufferings....
Know that the Lord, will give you strength, He'll help you to stand....
He's the lighthouse of Heaven,....
there's power in His name....
Just call out to Jesus, Lord I need you, take hold of my hand
(Chorus)
This lighthouse is Jesus,....
His light is still shining....
Through the storms of this life,....
He still calms the seas....
He'll give you the strength,....
to help keep you going....
He's the lighthouse we need,....
to guide you and me
(Outro)
The light from the lighthouse,....
will guide you to safety....
Give you the hope, that you will make it, on life's troubled sea....
This lighthouse is Jesus,....
He'll lead you and guide you....
Shining His light, that beacon of hope, for you and for me,
for you and for me
(Ending, music fades out beautifully)
