Everlasting Arms

Verse 1: 87 years I've been falling Never hit the ground Something underneath kept calling "You're safe and sound" Chorus: Everlasting arms beneath me Even when I couldn't see Everlasting arms that caught me Every time I thought I'd lost me Holding on, holding on Verse 2: From the nail through to the glory Every chapter of the story Someone's arms were always there Disguised as strangers who would care (Repeat Chorus) Bridge: Now I understand the fall Wasn't failure after all Just the way to feel the grace Of the everlasting embrace
