Parallel Lives

Verse 1: You were growing up while I was growing old Same city lights, different stories told Pass each other on the street Strangers who were meant to meet Chorus: Parallel lives on parallel tracks Running forward, never looking back Till the moment when the lines converge And parallel lives finally merge Verse 2: I was building walls, you were breaking free I was losing faith, you learned to believe Time was keeping us apart Till it healed my broken heart (Repeat Chorus) Bridge: Einstein said that time could bend Maybe that's how stories end When parallel becomes the same And strangers share a name
